Mollie & Josh got married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Smithsburg, MD and had their reception at Fountain Head Country Club. They had a perfect fall wedding, everything was beautifully done and very personal. Meghan & Nick picked one of the more daring months to have an outdoor wedding in the Northeast (MD,PA,VA,DC). The draw of the fall colors are hard to ignore but it does come with the chance of cold temperatures and fall rains. Personally I love the looming ominous clouds- makes for a wonderful contrasty image. Lucky for them , or rather good planning on their part, the Lodges where they were married ( The Lodges at Gettysburg) had a great indoor backup plan for weather emergencies. I loved the great wooden beams across the ceilings and the large open windows. Anyhow check it out! Congrats again guys, we were honored to photograph your day.
You might recognize Alex and Brian if you have followed our blog for the past couple years. I first met Alex as a bridesmaid for one of my favorite couples of all time, Erika & Tim (who btw are now expecting their first baby! Congrats guys, cant wait to photograph your little nugget) Anyways can you believe it poured rain most of the day for Alex & Brian! But I told Alex ahead of time, it’s all about attitude, IF it rains it rains. We will have an awesome time regardless of the weather. I loved the dreary overcast dark stormy skies-made their colors pop and didn’t dampen their spirits one bit. There first look is probably one of my favorites to date.Congrats guys, the C&I crew and I loved photographing your wedding.

Every once in a while our clients go above and beyond to make us feel like family at their wedding. Jason and Jheydee are one of those couples. From mentioning us on their program to accommodating us in every way, we were unexpectedly flattered. Surrounded by family and friends, they tied the knot under the pergola at the always beautiful Turf Valley Country Club. Timing couldn’t have been better either; it poured seconds after we finished their family portraits on the alter!
