We got the chance to travel to the Florida Keys for Jessica and Chaz’s beautiful wedding at the Marriott Beachside in Key West. Knowing the weather in Florida in November and how unpredictable it can be, everyone was crossing their fingers for beautiful weather – and we got it! From the moment we arrived at the hotel where both Jessica and Chaz were preparing for the evening with their friends and family we knew this was going to be a fun wedding. The girls were in their kimonos sipping on champagne and the fellas were in their room enjoying cigars and music. Everyone was smiling, laughing, and just extending their love to the bride and groom the entire night. Let me just say that they are extremely loved! The speeches by the bridal party were so heartfelt and warm that it was hard to get ourselves out of the moment and shoot what was going on because we just wanted to hear what kind words would be said next. As soon as the music turned on, it was a dance party! It was an action packed kind of reception – I think we may have even been pulled out onto the dance floor to join them at one point. We are wishing Jessica and Chaz a lifetime of happiness and health! Congratulations you two!

I first met Corinne & Sean way back when at Bridgette & Cory’s Wedding in 2011. We have been fortunate to work with many amazing people through recommendations, and Corinne and Sean are exactly those type of people. We love the vintage country vibe, so when they told me they were having their reception at Serra Valley Farms, I couldn’t wait. It has a modern vintage look and feel to it, makes for an amazing backdrop. During their engagement session Corinne really wanted to have some shots with her horse Kona, so it was only fitting to have horses be a part of their wedding. When they arrived at the reception site, Corinne & Sean went on a carriage ride around the property before being dropped off to join everyone for the reception. It was like being a part of a movie. Congratulations Corinne & Sean!

Nicole + Josh | Married | 3.30.13 | Doylestown Pennsylvania wedding photographer

We met Nicole and Josh through our friends Corrine & Ryan, who were our last wedding couple of 2012… And, Nicole and Josh were our first Maryland wedding of 2013 It was great getting to know them a little at Corrine and Ryan’s wedding before we even had our engagement session together. Their wedding was held at the Aldie Mansion in the quaint town of Doyestown Pennsylvania, where Nicoles family is from. I loved the overall feel of their wedding . Very relaxed and chill within the gorgeous backdrop of the ancient stone mansion with rich woodwork and an overall rustic atmosphere. One of the reasons they actually decided to have the wedding in Pennsylvania was so that Nicole’s grandmother could attend. It was an incredible moment to see her face light up when she saw Nicole in her wedding dress for the first time.

I love when I’m able to find an excuse to go down to Florida. The weather is always nice (unlike this past week of cold rain here in Maryland) and the people I meet are always so chill. Meet Kayla & Taylor. Kayla told me she lived in Maryland for a portion of her life and Taylor in California, but California is where they have decided to get married. Although they love both locations they found Fort Lauderdale, Florida to be their perfect home. I can’t blame them either because besides a couple bad storms here and there, it’s absolutely beautiful. Kayla is a nurse and Taylor works for Spirit Airlines. When he told me this, I politely commented, “wow, you work for one of the best and worst airlines in the world.” We had a little chuckle about that. Anyways, I had so much fun with the two of them and definitely enjoyed the perfect Florida weather. Congratulations guys!
