Besides the magic of preserving memories, the best thing about photography – especially weddings – is the people you meet along the way. As we speak, I’m headed over to Lacy & Pete’s house for dinner tonight with their wedding photos in tow. I’m sure we’re going to eat something amazing with a perfectly paired wine, so what better than a side of much-anticipated photos 🙂
When I met Lacy & Pete and we romped around during their engagement photos, I knew would be fast friends. Since then, Lace has answered 6,000 questions and crises I’ve had about my cat (she is literally the worlds best vet by the way), Pete got some foxy headshots done, and we’ve been no strangers to eating and sharing great drinks together. But I digress. You get it. They are the absolute best.
Lacy & Pete’s incredibly perfect wedding took place at Bluemont Vineyard, and man it was just breathtaking. Everything was a dream, from the produce her folks brought for all the guests, to the donut bar, their vows that made ME cry, and the Super Moon appearance…I heard they ordered it special 😉
So without further ado, Lacy & Pete, a million congratulations to you! Let’s eat!
Photographing Tyler & Tera’s maternity portraits was such a treat because they are two of my dearest friends. I for one, am counting down the days until Ezra makes his debut, and documenting this amazing occasion made me even more excited for his arrival!
Tera & Ty, thank you so so so much for trusting me with the honor of taking these photos for you and baby Ezra. I hope they make all THREE (eeeek) of you guys smile for years to come.
Love you guys to the moon,
Micaelah & Tanner are super near and dear to my heart, so their wedding was one that I’ve been looking forward to from the minute that I heard they were engaged. What I was most excited about, besides photographing people who I know and love, was their wedding location. These two were married at Tanner’s family’s house in Winchester, and it was just the most beautiful setting. That morning there was a ton of rain and fog, but, when it was wedding time, everything was dry and perfect. We had the best time running around by the stream and in between the awesome red outbuildings. After the sweetest ceremony, we finished the night up with smores by the bonfire. It couldn’t have been more perfect. So to my two sweetest friends, congratulations!
