Julia & Jon got the rare opportunity to be photographed in the Dumbarton Gardens in Georgetown Dc. We found out about an hour and a half into our session by a “very nice” security guard that all professional photography was prohibited on the grounds :-O Its a shame, because the gardens are absolutely beautiful. So, we were very fortunate to sneak our session in before we were found out

Shanice & Eddie were married at the Stone Manor country club in middletown Maryland. This couple couldn’t have picked a more beautiful or perfect location for their wedding celebration. I loved being behind the lens to capture all of their special moments. I see love in many forms in my line of work but enjoy when couples choose unique and creative ways to express it. Eddie serenaded Shanice with the lovely tune of ” Beauty and the Beast” on his saxophone for their first look. Her face was fantastic and everything I know Eddie wanted for his bride to be. There was laughing, dancing, pie throwing, music videos and joyful chatter as the room celebrated with Shanice and Eddie. It’s always a privilege to be a part of a couples Happily Ever After! Congrats you two!
There’s just something about New York City that fills you with excitement and wonder. We took an early morning road trip up to NYC and met Anthony & Xay. They’re the nicest, most friendly folks you’ll ever meet. We spent the day with Xay & Anthony roving around Brooklyn, looking over at the colossal Manhattan buildings from The Promenade and exploring the neighborhoods they’ve lived in. We had some pretty incredible pizza and German food at Buschenschank. It felt like we were just exploring the city with good friends, sharing a meal and stories together, snapping some portraits in the moments in between. Anthony & Xay we are so pumped to shoot your wedding at Union Mills Homestead and hang out again!

There is just something about the natural beauty of old wood and a surrounding forrest that make a location perfect for tying the knot. Whitney and Jamie were married at the Union Mills Homestead. With the old barn and vintage, tangible feel, we love to shoot at these kinds of places. They just feel natural, like home. Congrats Whitney and Jamie! We are so excited for you.
